A previously unlisted $1 chip from the Carib Inn was auctioned on eBay last night for the unbelievable price of $404.00. Although I think that there are more desirable $1 chips from Puerto Rico, this is the highest amount that I am aware of for the sale of a $1 chip from a Puerto Rico casino. The chip is a light purple or lavender colored HCE mold hot stamped chip. The same chip is known in several other colors, and I'll be that there are others. An amazing price for an amazing chip. Congratulations to the auction winner. The seller, Walter D., has already been congratulated by the final auction price.
