"The Flamingo" was opened by "The Nevada Projects Corporation" on December 26, 1946. It was never the "Pink Flamingo". When it reopened March 1, 1947 it was the "Fabulous Flamingo". Thus any item that is labeled "The Flamingo" is quite rare and valuable.
