Good question about the prices not changing. The price guide is a static publication. The entire hobby has changed since that printing and I keep wanting to update it, but its a huge undertaking. Also, most all the prices have changed - mostly lower - as more and more collectors are either leaving or have filled up their collections. I am not seeing any growth in illegal chippers (or much in the hobby as a whole). It deperately needs changing, and I hope to do it. However, its difficult to know prices for chips which haven't been for sale, but whose demand is definately waining.
