We were at Luxor and started up a conversation with 3 people from Pilly. This Luxor was bran-new. I asked them why did they come way out here to Las Vegas when they could just drive to Atlantic City?
Well, they said, we got airfair,hotel 4 days,all the eats, some drinks, amotor ride to Laughlin overnite, and the price was $175-$275 what ever it was it became obvious this was a good deal..
I still thought it would be cheaper to drove to AC and get a room.
They said no. The drive,Parking,hassle, then the room cost min $125, and cost of food and drink.
I said but you can walk around and see the sights.
They said, Its cold (Jan-Feb), the shops are closed, and one block away from the casino is lots,trash and Bumms, an area you don't want to venture in to.
So, I said I guess you go a great deal.
They, Las Vegas, Have forgotten the old junkets of years ago or even good deals that were offered the Easterners to come to Las Vegas.
