I was finally able to upload the scan of the chip in question. There are 3 circles at about 10, 2 and 6 o'clock. My question is whether or not this is from the manufacturing process? It appears to be to me. Also, does this affect the value of the chip? THANK YOU to all who responded last night. Maybe a picture will make the question easier to answer
