The Meadows was built from a dream Tony Cornero had to start "The Strip" from Sahara and Boulder on south. He had the "Strip" dream before all others, but for the wrong road. He was planning on bringing hollywood stars 15 years before Bugsy did.
He built it with the idea that "if you build it, the elite could come." He had to have planned on them betting more than $1 per bet.
