1997 issue have 'flat' finishes to the chips. 2002 are shiny finishes.

These chips were part of the same original orders. They were the acts 'commissions' for the chips. They cashed the chips and took the cash instead Thats what usually happens - although a notable example when it didnt was Ozzy Osbourne, who not only took his payment in chips but also bought 50% of the Lola & Minnie chips for himself.
