Gene;
Spa 3rd Aniv Chip: The story as I know it.
The chip you show in Help 1 was issued on the 3rd. Aniv. in
keychains to players in the casino. They were not available to
purchase at the cage. The person receiving them could keep them;
play them on the table; or cash them in. If they came into the
cage they were held for future promo use.
After 90-120 or so days a notice was posted saying the chips would
become NCV on a date some 30 or 60 or so days later. After that date
the casino handed the now NCV chips out in keychains as promo items.
About a month or two later they added a paper tag on the keychain
that said the chip was NCV.
About 6 mo ago the took the remaining chips and drilled a hole in
the center of each chip, aprox on the 3rd marking. These are still
being handed out as promo items in keychains.
The two chips in Help 2 are new to me; I assume samples of rejected
designs. Any traders of them available? If so I am interested.
