From what I have seen on Ebay the past year or so, older California chips, and older mid-priced Las Vegas chips, have seemed to be doing pretty well in this economy. These usually go for over "book" price.
Some of the ones that I have noticed that are selling way below book price are the real expensive chips, non-Nevada chips (Colorado, etc), Hard Rock Hotel LV Chips, and newer R-1 chips.
Just one person's observation, solely from monitoring Ebay..
