I was only a year out of high school and working in a sheet metal shop here in Jersey. I was supposed to meet a guy after work to buy his low mileage 1955 Buick Roadmaster for $1,500. I couldn't keep my mind off that car all during my shift and my mind was wandering ... until the sheet metal brake I was carelessly operating came down on my right hand and cut off the tips of two fingers!
