I mean, it's a herd of deer (horses, antelope, elephants, etc), a flock of sheep (though they're managed by sheep herders...and birds come in flocks, too), a school of fish, a covey of quail, a colony of ants, a pack of wolves, a pride of lions, a pod of whales, a sloth of bears, a pace of donkies...well, you get the idea.
How many words do we need to describe a group of animals? And who decided what animals would be described by which word????
