Every chip has a story! The Mars Hotel chips, as some of you might know, had quite an interesting history. The Mars was open for about a year in 1997-98 in downtown Spokane. It was closed instantly one day by the feds over a tax issue (independent from any state gaming problems) and padlocked. No chips escaped after this point. A few months later, it burned down and, as far as I know, the chips went in the blaze. A few of the 5.00s had walked, but I have been trying to dig up a 25.00 since then. I finally succeeded! I wish I had traders, but I only have the single 5.00 & 25.00 in my collection. There were never any 1.00s.
