Some of us use the "Read Next Msg" function, Thom. This doesn't let you see the title of the "next msg" before it appears on the screen.

In my experience, this is the fastest way to do the board if you are interested in most of the subjects. It's pretty fast to just click the RSM again if what pops up isa message that's blank or has no chipping content.

Those who find it necessary to post to re-establish the board on their cookie file should consider using a password and removing the post afterwards. It does NOT remove the cookie from your pc if you do this.
