... point Mike:
>> Being a Lawyer I would think you would take the time to read the "fine print"
I missed the shipping charges and that was my fault (wouldn't have bid at all if I had noticed them.
>> As a seller I wouldn't care where you were going or what you had to do.
>> You bid you pay....
Well, maybe I didn't make this clear enough for you, so let me say it again: I paid IN FULL all of the so-called "shipping & handling" fees -- $17 worth.
>> ... and you had to think about it three weeks....
Is there a particular reason why it's inappropriate to think about something for awhile before acting on it? While I consider eBay's feedback system pretty much worthless, I DO recognize that giving someone negative feedback is potentially detrimental to that person's eBay "reputation". The system is set up to give you at least 60 days to post feedback; I took advantage of that leeway.
>> PLEASE never bid on any auction I might have.
Why, do you charge excessive shipping, too?
I'll be happy to add you to my list of sellers to avoid.
>> And YOU want to sell chips for the club on eBay if elected president?
Actually, my proposal is for the club to sell chips on eBay, not me.
>> Doesn't sound good to me.
There are (at least) two other excellent candidates for president of the club. Feel free to vote for one of them. ----- jim o\-S
