I heard a similar story from a South Dakota friend of mine who would go to the area for big game hunting. However, just as my little weekly friendly poker games are not legal neither was the Saturday night game at the Wort. Just ask any one of the four old folk who were arrested in Florida by the sheriff because they had a friendly game going. I recall the story coming out a few years back. The old farts were playing for quarters. I'll bet that Wort Hotel game was played for more than quarters.
