I have an opportunity to join a Relay for Life fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society. I've lost a few relatives and friends to cancer in the past few years, so I figure the time is right, and Greg is one of the handful of folks I will be thinking of.
This one is a 12 hour night-time event, to be held May 14-15. For those who do not know about Relay for Life events, teams run/walk around a track relay-style, and raise money as individuals and teams. I figured I would form a team of one and get as close to 50 miles as I can in the 12 hours.
