Just got back from the Grand Casino on a 2 day one night stay. Picked up a couple goodies we didn't have in our collection (Poor Larry had to work and couldn't go). My Black Grand ONE Players Club card did not scan well, but it looks like the Grand One Club larger image. The larger Grand one Club is for special parking while at the casino. Since we flew in and bussed to the casino, a good souvenir for our collection. And, they now have a VIP lounge for the Grand One members with a special key (the one that looks like a tuxedo). that was pretty nice. The other Grand one (blank) slot card is the regular Grand Advantage slot card. Plus, if you earned a 1000 points in the month of September you got a Chair, which they mail. All in all it was a pretty good two days, except for staying at the Veranda there. One of the three hotels on the property. It's so far away from the casino they bus people back and forth. I thought the rooms were yucky, the carpets were stained, just not cleaned well. Would rather stay at the Grand which is right near the casino. They also have a 3rd hotel which was hosting the Walter Payton Memorial Charity golf outing. No Gene, I didn't have a pen with me to get autographs on chips, how dumb. Anyway, thought some of you might be interested in the Black Grand One card, no traders (couldn't even talk her into a blank one, had to beg and say I left my other card at home to get a new one. Also, picked up at the Carribean Stud table 2 Grand Opening chips from 1996, in pretty decent shape and 4 Millenium chips at the cash cage (they said I had to buy at the table, but I ended up getting them at the cage. The dealer said he hadn't seen any of the GO chips on the tables in quite a while. And of course a few roulette chips.
