As I said in my original post, it was my own fault that I bid on these chips without having read the text in full and I accept responsibility for that (would not have bid had I noticed the shipping charges).

Which was the reason I posted here. And, how exactly could I do that without "complaining"? In the eBay context, nothing short of negative feedback would mean anything.
This seller, BTW, has four other negs related to his shipping charges and packaging.
