I don't want people to get the impression that Carl did anything wrong. Yes, he should have asked, but he did not. That puts in ALL on DEAN CLARK for not offering insurance. I DO understand that you are trying to get your insurance point across, but when you point it out like you did, it makes it sound like Carl was partly at fault. Since insurance was never offered I do not think he was............
As for Jim Reilly's situation. I feel he was 100 % correct in what he did. I'm REALLY getting tired of some eBay sellers trying to make addition profits off of "postage & insurance". They jack up the cost of these two items & a lot of people let them get away with it. Then after charging very high postage & insurance costs they send out the chips like Jim received his.........It's becoming a joke! I just went through this myself on a single chip I bought on eBay.
