I was in a casino in the UK a few weeks ago and had no cash so went to the cage to buy chips on my card. Before I could buy them I had to tell them how much I was prepared to gamble that evening as after they set the limit they couldn't give me any more. Maybe this is usual in UK casinos but it was the first time I was asked to do this. I know, I could have said anything, but at least they gave me the option before they started feeding me beer! As for this guy, as with all addictions, there has to be some personal responsibility.
