In Sydney the fuel prices hover between $0.97c/lt to $1.15/lt depending on which day of the week it is, the fuel excise is crippling a lot of businesses.
Being a self employed courier it costs me roughly $100.00/week to run my one tonne van which is on petrol.
I know exactly how you feel Bob, the media asked our Prime Minister if he would do anything to bring the prices to a reasonable level his answer was if he did that the shortfall would have to be made up from somewhere else like increased interest rates or taxes.
It really is hard & nobody knows when it will if ever stop.
