On eBay I noticed a chip I was interested in. This was day three of a five day auction. The chip had no bids on it. I placed a bid. Within a half hour I was outbid, twice! The chip was there for 3 days with no bids and then there were 3 bids in a half hour. Is this just a coincidence or is it possible for someone to monitor your bids on eBay?
