These coins were offered for sale in the Los Angeles Times the last couple of years. The company selling them ran full page ads. I don't recall the price but I recall it was far below $1600, but well over spot silver prices at the time. There was no limit quoted on quantities so I assume they were created en masse. At best the value of the silver is somewhere between $450-550.
