I was recently thinking of putting my dice collection of about 600 pairs/sticks up for sale. It is a nice combination of older and newer dice. The collection kinda breaks down like this:
- All Nevada - 70% Vegas - the rest Lake Tahoe, Reno and small towns
- No Doubles
- Overwhelming majority are numbers matching or don't have numbers - a few Non-Matched pairs, but not many.
- None Drilled
- About 30 sticks - the rest are pairs.
- Visually appealling assortment of colors with Red making up about 60-65% of overall color followed by Green, Blue, Amber, Violet - the usual.
- It is a well-rounded group with the new dice of great new places coupled with wonderful dice from the Old late-greats.
- I was thinking of asking $6 a pair/stick across the board as a whole - That means about $3,600
- Most dice from anywhere crappy(drilled MS dice) will cost you $3 or $4 a pair. Most regular Run-of-the-Mill dice(matching Numbers) go for about $5-$6 a pair. Sticks usually range from $9 to $15 - I have a few that I paid $20 or $25 for
- This collection is a great deal at $6 a pair/stick BECAUSE I have ALOT of very nice dice in the collection that you will be getting for $6 a pair or stick. I am not Cherry-picking or saving anything for myself. They are ALL $6 each when you buy the collection. It is a HUGE incentive. As an example - I have a beautiful pair of "Joe W. Brown" Horseshoe dice from the early fifties when Benny went to Jail for two years in awesome condition - $100? - NO $6. I have a few different pairs of "Standing Caesar" dice with one of them being the Green variety -$75? - NO $6 each. I have 11 pairs of Landmark dice with different color towers or logos including the hard to find orange - $40 each? - NO $6 each for all eleven pair. I have a couple different varieties of dice from the "International". It was only the International for a couple years - $6 each. I have a few pairs of dice from the "Hilton International" -again short lived dice as it again changed to just the Hilton - $6 pair. I have older dice from the Desert Inn( about a dozen different), The Dunes(half dozen), Stardust(10 pair some old with stars), Green Castaways dice and red Castaways dice with the "island Logo". Many dice from the Aladdin with different color lamps and Logos - $6 each. I have great dice from the Golden Nugget and Harolds and Binions. Lots of "bulls-eye" dice. A stick of white dice from Terribles -$6. Black dice from the Lady Luck and Hooters - $6 each. Lots of 2 color logo dice. Too many to list, but you get the idea. Many of the dice are worth far more than $6 a pair and very few of them worth less.
