Nobody crosses over to Cuba, Iran or China because they are hungry... and thank God we do not treat those who come here illegally as the author suggests those in other countries do.

Again, I think most of us agree that we should not accept them nor allow them to set up domicile once they enter illegally, but rather enforce our laws accordingly and not follow what the author suggests other countries do.

I think those who enter Cuba, Iran or China illegally do it for other reasons other than what I've expressed.
