It is not the "weapons" fault. The problem is most politicians have shifted the attention to the inanimate object - the gun; instead of THE problem - the person behind it.
I say if a person uses a firearm in the commission of a felony, if found guilty, receive life in prison WITHOUT parole. If they kill someone and are convicted they get the death penalty. No exceptions as to race, religion, good lawyers, etc.
For too long we, the American public, have been feed this "bunk" how it's everythings fault - the cig, the gun, etc. but not the fault of the individual who makes the choice to smoke, who makes the choice to use the firearm in a felony etc.
When are we as Americans going to hold the individual RESPONSIBLE for his/her actions????? This, in my opinion, is WHAT'S WRONG!!! Ne responsibility for ones actions!!!!
