Several years ago I was burned by Mr. Clark, as were several other club members. I sincerely hope he has changed his business practices since my dealings with him, and that everyone gets the chips that they bought. Hey...he recently offered me a few roulette chips to help make up for the empty envelope that I received in exchange for the $98.10 that I sent him. So maybe he's mellowed out over the years.

My post was a knee-jerk reaction to your suggestion of Mr. Clark appearing on the cover of the CCTN. When I read your post, I didn't see the humor in your suggestion...sorry about that !

Yes, there are negative posts on the board sometimes, and they might occasionally deter someone from joining the club. There are a LOT more positive posts, and some people join the club because of the camaraderie they find here. In the past, Mr. Clarks's actions have caused a few members to leave the club and the hobby. It's very easy to find something...positive or negative...to justify whatever action a person wants to take.

Anyway...It's a fun hobby, and a great club ! Overall the club members are a wonderful group of people...so enjoy the hobby and the club, and be proud that you are a part of it!
