I'm no expert, but if you have a dime to spend get a real computer, mac....I have friends who use Mac's that are 5, 6 years old and their faster than my 2 yr old notebook..never had problems with virus...etc...their Mac's operate, run faster than the day they bought them and I'm talking about 12 inch notebooks....

If your getting a pc, any dual core processor should be all you need...(500 bucks) Processor speed hasn't been relevant for a while IMHO...just get all the Ram it can use and the biggest hard drive...what more do you really need?
