Deleting files that you know you have dupes of... Such as if you copied your entire contents of your "My Documents" folder, open up your "My Documents" folder, highlight the files you want to delete or everything in the folder and either hit the "DEL" delete key, or right click and choose "Delete". I would be careful if I have not done it before and just delete one file to start with so you get the hang of it. I am always a little cautious and delete files I know I have dupes of or if I know I really don't need it anymore. After you have finished deleting I would defrag the hard drive, let me know if you don't know how to do that.
Another thing would help is clearing out your cookies from your browser.
