These tokens (along with chips) were a part of the several hundred or thousand dollar "packages" that were given to VW's Vacation Club holders. They had to be played in specially designated machines that didn't pay back squat ... and couldn't be redeemed for squat either... although the chips in the packages were very fruitful in payouts. I used to put half of my chip package on red, the other half on black, and covered the 0/00 with $20 of my own. Was a winner everytime that more than paid for the entire cost of the package. One year, the special $25 chips I received were even redeemable for cash... and I sold every one of them at one of the club's earlier Aladdin conventions to dealers for $30 each. Today, that chip has a "J" value in TCR6.
