(1) The inlay on the Sands $500 is the same diameter as the regular Borland ones, though as I mentioned in my posts here, the font style, etc., is different, and the cross checking thing and the construction of the inlay are different.

(2) the inlay on my Sands $500 one goes perfectly into that recess hole for the inlay. Very neat, just like the Borland ones.
