Is it reasonable for Mark to approach the BOD and state what he is WILLING to do and ask what the BOD is WILLING to do in return?
The gang mentality stinks........ When like minded people ban together, and make pledges for a noble purpose, free will goes right out the window. The will of the group becomes "law", the people at the top of the group dictate the "law", and stepping back from that position is a lot harder that an individual person bestowing forgiveness on someone who has offended him/her. I don't take the pledge because I would prefer to decide for myself when the time has come to move on.
So, Do you think the CC&GTCC BOD is out of line when they dictate a code of ethics to be a member? You stated: I don't need a Board to dictate what I know to be right or wrong. Or that some members have been banned from membership by the CC&GTCC BOD?
You stated: As a member of the CCGTCC, I firmly stand by the official position of the club. Then stated: When like minded people ban together, and make pledges for a noble purpose, free will goes right out the window.
When/if slabbing pops up again let me know, WHY? You did not support SlabFree the first time. but I am certain that under the present conditions, the "list" has outrun its usefulness. That may be true, but it is the BOD's desision, petetion them with your concerns. Likewise, Mark Scott should do likewise. Is THAT Reasonable?
