Yes I actually went someplace, besides the sportscar track. For those Yankee's like me, we went to Ironton Ohio (read the subject again) ;-)
Only one true collectibles shop and the lady behind the counter said (you folks all know the question) yes there might be some old chips over in that corner. Remembering all your messages about illegals in Ohio and Kentucky (Ironton is east of Cinnci and across the river from Kentucky. You can see West Virginia from a hillside...
No chips, but I did find some interesting dice. Two message, because there are some different considerations.
Look at this picture. Left to right, starting at the top. 1-3-5, 1-4-5, 2-3-6, 2-4-6, 4-5-6, all 5's, all 6's, loaded? (look at the bottom of the five). And the numbers mean, that all the numbers on the dice, they repeat on opposite sides.
Across the street at the hardware store, the guy had an antique slot for sale, and some other old things. I asked if he had and old chips or dice... "I used to have som cheatin' dice, when the store was across the street, but I left them behind." Yes the old Hdwre store was now the antiques store. I just bought his old discarded dice. <G>
