Thankfully "the Summer of '69" promotion ended in Downtown Vegas. When I was there in July, all the hot cocktail waitresses were wearing tie-dyed t-shirts instead of their usual belly shirts and short skirts..maybe the worst promotion ever.

Going there for 4 nights. I already have 2 nights booked at Sam's Town with my card. The other two nights I want to stay downtown. I heard the Golden Gate is VERY noisy. Heard bad things about the Plaza. I'm deciding between the $20 rooms at the Fitz and the $50 rooms at the Nugget..I'm not going with the wifey this trip, strictly a "poker trip" , so I could care less how nice the room is..just don't like the noise when I'm trying to sleep..

Anyone every stay at Fitzgeralds? Good, bad or indifferent?
