I declare Dennis Shoop the winner even though he was not the closest. John Chopek was with a guess of 800 chips but John did not include his membership number as the rules stated. The actual number of chips in my carry on was 893.

Because John did come close I will send him a consolation prize. But Dennis is the winner.
On a side note I should have set a time limit for the contest, but I was tired when I posted it so I let it run for 24 hours.
