What Greg suggests is not inconsistent with the basic proposition that to be a member of a Chapter you must also be a member of national (international...sorry). Local clubs should receive guests...guests who can participate in such manner as the local people want them to participate. I was a guest at the Elks Club for several months before I asked my sponsors to put forward my name. Same should be true here.
