members and non-renewing members that point directly at the crap that goes on on this BB as a reason that they will either not join or not renew, so no it's not really BS. Yes...I know the arguement -- this is not the club board, but really, this BB is the "face" of this hobby and sometimes the garbage that goes on here is a bit much. You have tens of thousands of chips & many of this club's "core collectors" are well-invested in this hobby; but sometimes you have to look at things through the eyes of a new person entering or considering entering this hobby. It's a hobby, something that they hope will take their mind off of the real world for a few minutes or hours...the same reason that I come to this BB. Only they may not have much invested in it & it makes it easy for them to walk away from.

Do I want the political postings to stop? I personally don't care. I've learned whose posts & which threads not to read. But do try to understand that sometimes & in some eyes, those posts are detrimental.
