Yes, I bought a batch of chips (several hundred) that came out of an estate sale. All of which were used at places owned by Skidmore and Johnson in Chicago, except for there being no clear i.d. on the "SLC" chip. But these most probably came from the Southland Club in Chicago, since it was also a (major) Skidmore and Johnson place and they did not have another place for which those three letters fit.

It would stand to reason that the deceased was a former employee of Messrs. Skidmore and Johnson.
