Both the pink Delta Club chip and the yellow Delta Club chip in the 2 separate Ebay auctions are the same identical chip except for the colors . They are indeed the LGSMCR mold ( Large and Small Circles ) . In newer condition you can both see and feel the concentric circles on the chip itself . Also , the white inlay itself has the same type of concentric circles . After many years of use ,
the large and small circles on the chip itself will wear down to a smooth surface . These chips were heavily played , and most are found in well used condition . I personally have the pink and the yellow chip in slightly used condition with all the circles intact on the chip itself . I also have a couple of the pink chips which are in well used condition . My understanding is that these particular chips are from the Delta Club in Greenville , Mississippi .
( Circa 1930's - 1940's ) . I believe that Ed Hertel can confirm this attribution for these Delta Club chips . I have never heard anyone putting forth the suggestion that these chips were from the Delta Saloon in Virginia City . ( until now , at least ) . Somehow , I have serious reservations as to the Virginia City attribution . If this were the case , these Delta Club chips would be valued at $50 to $100 per chip .
