I'm too sleepy to do much looking right now, but have you seen this website? It mentions the Tivoli.
Not sure, but I think we might have a Tivoli Cover (or else Mark found an ashtray or someone has something...I'm sure I've looked up the Tivoli before...??), I'll look tomorrow. Oh....all right, sleep can wait, I don't have to be to work for another 6 1/2 hours...
1937 phone book lists Tivoli Tavern at 126 North 1st Street, phone 396
Same listing in 1944, 1945, 1950 and 1951. Gone from the 1952 phone book. No info about gambling.
The 1942 phone book lists J. B. Gaut as the manager.
But I'm not going to look at our matches tonight...that'll have to wait.
