in not being at the business session--can't recall what kept me away as I was up at 6 a.m. I would have spoken against a change as I too feel strongly that membership in National should be a prerequisite for membership in any National recognized club. I think we need to with civility kick this issue around and then put the issue back on the agenda for the 2001 Convention. Personally, I do not like a system that permits by-law change too easily. At the same time, I like and respect people on both sides of this issue and hope we can find a solution that does not alienate folk.
