At the last ANA conventiuon here in Los Angeles we had several continental notes most of the pcs we picked up in the late 1950's and early 1960's. One was an Unc. pc that was really nice. A dealer comes along and asked to look them over. What will you take for all of them he asked. $1500.00 and $750.00 for the unc. pc. How about $2000.00 for the lot. I counter him with $2200.00 OK fair deal he says. The next day it was all over the convention how this dealer came up with a new note and would not sell it for $20,000..... That's ok I made money of what I had.
