OK. It is the 1800's and you are founding a new town in middle Tennessee. Now what do we call it? We want it to be something indicative of the area and will attract other settlers and businesses. A name that will elicit fond memories for our many visitors. Hey wait Billy Bob - I have a great name - let's vote on it now! And that is how this town got its name.
