Since we first noticed that the club message board did not attract as many views as Greg's bb, I had made the suggestion (as others have) that there is nothing wrong with hashing and rehashing a topic here, first, and then when we have enough input and fine-tuned whatever we were discussing, to then present it in the manner the club officers suggest. The numbers tell me that the hits, reactions and additional input is exceedingly greater here than on the club board. I seriously doubt there are online club members who only visit the club bb and where they would miss any discussions developed on Greg's bb. There was a suggestion by Michael Knapp that this club business should only be discussed on the club bb because there are non-members visting this bb. I don't have to explain anything further regarding that thinking...as the club bb is not exclusive. If the club decides to make it exclusive as you suggest, Archie, how in the world are we going to attract new potential members? By you constantly suggesting what you do every time a club related matter is introduced or discussed on this bb, you are in essence saying to all other viewers that they keep quiet....because they do not go to the club bb. Read the writing on the wall, Archie...they don't have the time to run all over the internet to meet your demands. This, in my opinion, is uncalled for in our society. Let viewers discuss whatever they want on this bb, and then follow the prescribed format for presentation...which still doesn't make too much sense to be with the limitations on the club bb. In other words: Why do you feel the need for a club officer to respond to a club matter without the full benefit of all online viewers seeing what they respond? This tells me something that is not in the better interest of everyone. This is not getting their message to all the online viewers...and you know exactly what the word for that is.
