......and if she would walk herself into the gas station and tell them how much gas she wanted to put into her car, the authorization on her card would only be that amount. So that would be the way to avoid the problem all together.
.......and I dont know where you are, but gas stations around Vegas will not let you pay at the pump with a pre-paid debit card.
