I am starting to put my non-nevada chips into my well-used Collectors Assistant software (that'll be $5, Terry...).

What do my fellow chippers do for chips that do not have a CG number? Not just the recent ones... I believe there are many segments of the USA chip world that do not have GC numbers, yes? I guess I can come up with a combo of state/casino/denom/sequence, but would like some feedback about other practices out there.
