... David. I think the specialty chapters are a great idea, as stated in my announcement that I was running for president of the club.

Not only do I NOT see them as "divisive", I think they will provide a means of bringing INTO (or keeping in) the club people who otherwise might never join or might drop out (those who do not have chips as a primary focus of their collections).

Specialty chapters will also provide a means of better communication and interaction for members who have that particular specialty interest.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that you HAVE to join a specialty chapter if you don't want to, David. This is still a free country! <g>

Seriously, I can even envision separate chapters for specialty chip collectors someday when the membership gets large enough. ----- jim o\-S
