Chip images can be from a scanner or a photo that is loaded on your computer and then uploaded to the chip board or some other location. You should read the "First Time Users Click Here" link in the yellow bar above your message. It would be a lot of work to scan 300 chips - the most you can do at one time is about 12 of them.
