I agree with you on that, maybe it should be included in the shipping charge. We have not sold that many very expensive chips - we always offer insurance and sometimes we have paid for it ourselves if we feel the loss would be worth the cost - but there are purchases we have made that have been far more expensive than the one in question and have not been offered insurance and we have always asked for it.
