Pete - I never really thought about it, but now that you mention it, it seems like a good idea. eBay has instituted some new rules about outside links and logos in your auctions, but they're fairly easy to comply with. From the Seller Guide:
"Can I place a link to an association I belong to?"
"You may have a link in your item description to an association that you belong to, as long as that information is relevant to the listing and assists in the sale of your item For example, if you belong to an association and you feel your affiliation with that association will benefit your integrity as a seller, you may have a link or logo of that association in your auction, as long as it meets the link and logo requirements outlined in the advertisements policy. "
Those requirements can be found here:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-list.html
Seems we would need a logo not larger than 88 X 33 pixels, and a credit line notlarger than font size 3, containg no more than 10 words. The Club name alone is 7 words.
Perhaps someone could work up a standard logo and link, and post it somewhere so members who sell on eBay can just copy and paste it into their auctions.
My auctions are already fairly full of links and logos, but I'm sure I could find some space ...........
